Working together
In the article titled non violence, The only road to freedom, Martin Luther King gave us advice on how to work together. In this essay I will explore several situations in my life where I could learn something by following his advice.
At home we always have to work together. At home I clean my room and sometimes my brother helps me and sometimes I help him. When my mom is making food, my mom asked me to help her. We always have to do chores and we all clean together. It’s always good to help here and there.
School is great as long as you respect others. If my friend needs help I will help them as long as they need it. If I see someone in trouble or in a fight I could help them too. When my teacher needs my attention I will listen to her. Helping people makes things go more smoothly.
Our neighborhood is not safe. There is littering, stealing and sometimes people shoot guns and hurt other people. Me and my family worked together to help clean up our neighborhood on a clean up day. To reduce theft we keep an eye on our neighbors house and they keep an eye on ours. If we see something suspicious we work together with the police to prevent a bigger problem.
As we can see, there are many situations where we must work together. Whether at home, at school or in the neighborhood we always respect others kindly and work together to solve the problems we all share.
